Briefly, I have reached out to friends frequently and have  been supportive of those in need. I made the Caring  Committee calls and the New Member calls.

Most importantly, I have expressed gratitude  to my caregivers after surgery. I emailed the Chair of the Beth Israel-Lahey and identified these caregivers. He in turn notified each of them and they were very appreciative.

Several friends helped me by buying groceries for us and a retired physician called me several times to assist me in dealing with some post-operative distress. I made contributions to TBE in their honor. Finally, TBE clergy were very supportive as I recuperated and I recognized them and they were appreciative.
