The Art of Prayer (In Person)

Explore the text and meaning of our Shabbat evening liturgy through the spiritual practice of artmaking. Participants will study each text, interpret meaning, and create their own artwork inspired by each prayer. No prior artistic experience necessary. While all work created will focus on process and not product, participants will be encouraged to submit images of their work for our TBE visual t’fillah!  Want to get started with Jewish learning? Join us! This class does not require any prior knowledge for full participation.

• October 23: Prayers for Israel
• November 6: Ahavat Olam
• November 20: Shema
• December 4: V’ahavta
• December 18: Mi Chamocha

Fee: Members: no charge / Non-members: $250 for the series
