TBElle: The History of Jews in America, Continued (Online)

  • Tuesday, March 29, 2022
  • 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM
  • Join us online
  • Program Leader: Rabbi Bob Orkand

We will continue our look at the history of the Jews of America, beginning with the period after World War II.  This was a time of great change, and great challenges, for America’s Jews. With the end of the War, the nation as a whole turned increasingly toward religion. Judaism’s status as an accepted American faith allowed for renewed creativity.  And, Jews were moving out to the suburbs in even greater numbers.  We will look at this exciting history, and we will look toward the future of the American Jewish community.  Prior attendance in previous classes is not necessary.  All are welcome!

Dates: Tuesdays, March 29, April 12, 19, 26, May 3
