  • Program Leader: Cantor Josh Rosenberg

With the unfolding current events in Israel, young American Jews are being increasingly challenged with difficult questions to which they struggle to respond. These questions are especially difficult as they are paired against a backdrop of antisemitism amidst their own legitimate concerns of what Israel’s future will look like. This practical workshop with Charlotte Korchak will allow our teens and their families to ask the most difficult questions they have faced and receive answers rooted in the facts, as well be given the tools to respond effectively to the different audiences they may encounter.

After we hear from Charlotte, teens and their parents will have separate debrief and processing sessions with our clergy and education teams.

About Charlotte: Charlotte Korchak is the International Senior Educator at StandWithUs, where she educates and trains students from around the world in Israel’s history, and combating antisemitism. Charlotte grew up in both the United States and Israel, spending her formative years living in Jerusalem during the second intifada, giving her both an internal and external perspective on Israel and the conflict. She graduated with a BA in Middle Eastern History from the University of Southern California, where she also took part in the StandWithUs Emerson Fellowship. Charlotte has since been working for StandWithUs, reaching over 50,000 students a year from nearly every continent educating them about Israel, antisemitism and pertinent Jewish history within their high schools, universities, and communities worldwide. She had quickly become one of the foremost public speakers in her field.
