Shabbat Kumzitz (Hybrid)
- Friday, January 14
- 7:15 PM to 8:00 PM
What is a Kumsitz? A kumzitz is a social gathering with music and stories. The word kumzitz is actually a compound of two Yiddish words: kum and zitz which, when spoken together, mean “come, sit down.” The word is used to describe a musical gathering that Jews partake in. Everyone sits together, be it on the floor or on chairs, and sings spiritually moving songs.
Join us immediately following services for an intimate evening of songs and stories.
