Mincha Ma’ariv Service (Hybrid)

Our Mincha Ma’ariv service includes the celebration of the B’Mitzvah of Sasha Florence.

About Sasha
Hi TBE, I’m Sasha Florence. Playing basketball and volleyball are some of my favorite things to do. I adore playing sports because they allow me to get competitive, bond with friends and teammates, and stay active. I live in Newton with my mom, my dad, my 10 year old sister Isabel, and my 6 month old Bernedoodle Mochi. I am an 8th grader at Oak Hill Middle School. My favorite subject in school this year is art because even though I’m not very artistic, I like having freedom and I love my art teacher.
Becoming a bat mitzvah means to me that it is now my responsibility to step up more and be an example and role model in the Jewish community. I hope that people will look up to me now that I am becoming a bat mitzvah.
For my bat mitzvah service project I volunteered many times at Angell Memorial, an animal hospital in Boston. I chose this because I care a lot about animals and am always looking for ways to help them out.
