About Sawyer
Hey!  My name is Sawyer Gordon and I’m from Wellesley.  Theater is my passion, and I’ve been in my fair share of plays. I’m also on the Cross-Country team, I love running with my friends and it’s another thing I really enjoy, and I’m planning to do track in the spring. I live with my theater-obsessed family, my sister Emma, who is four years older than me, my parents, Perri and John, and my dog, Nate. I go to Wellesley Middle School and I’m in 7th grade.  My favorite subject is drama since I’m extremely involved in theater.  I also like ELA, since writing and reading are also hobbies of mine.  I enjoy taking vacations with my family and spending time with them.  Some of our favorite spots are Disney and Cape Cod.   I also attend camp in the summer, Broadway Camp is a highlight as I love to perform with my camp friends.  For my service projects, I have enjoyed volunteering with my father.  We have participated in Cradles to Crayons and we helped with the Dreidel Dash and cheered on the runners.   My family is also very involved with Hope and Comfort and we have helped to organize drives, pack hygiene kits, and sort items at their warehouse.  As a Bar Mitzvah, I’m proud to be considered an adult in my community.  I have been working really hard to master my Torah portion and I am excited for the opportunity to help lead a Havdalah service.
