Israeli Wounded Soldiers Share Their Stories of Injury and Healing (In Person)

We are thrilled to invite you to join us to hear from two incredible soldiers who will be visiting Boston later this month. Amit Gilboa and Shahaf Segal will share their stories of serving in the IDF, their injury, and rehabilitation process. They will also share a personal update on life in Israel after October 7 that I think you will find very moving.

Amit lives in Ramat Gan, near Tel Aviv, and served in the IDF for 8 years as an officer and in the Infantry brigade. He was injured in 2011 and will be accompanied by his emotional support dog – a 3-year-old Labrador. Amit has a degree in civil engineering.

Shahar lives in Gan Yavene, near Ashdod, and served as a medic and sharpshooter in the Golani brigade. He was injured in 2009 and went through five years of rehabilitation. He has an MBA and a Law degree.
