CASA Returns to Community Servings (In Person)

  • Tuesday, October 12
  • 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Community of Adult Social Action (CASA) is ready to participate safely with an in person, indoor project at Community Servings (vaccination & masks required).  Community Servings* has continued to provide meals to thousands of clients and their families impacted by HIV/AIDS, cancer, kidney disease, diabetes and other life threatening illnesses. Small CASA teams will help prepare and/or pack delicious, medically tailored meals for individuals and families facing critical and chronic illness. Please note the weekday time slots.

Five volunteers needed per date.  Carpool from TBE to 179 Amory Street Boston, 02130

RSVP: Ilene Pincus, [email protected].

Community of Adult Social Action (CASA) volunteers work together on small-group social justice activities to make connections, build community, and express our Jewish values.

*Because Community Servings adheres to the highest standards of food handling and kitchen safety, volunteering there also provides valuable experience for future volunteering in our own TBE Table kitchen. TBE Table is our newest TBE Tikkun Olam initiative and is already producing hundreds of meals each month to support those experiencing food insecurity. For more information about TBE Table, contact Amy Benjamin, [email protected].
