Friends with Dementia: Where Do You Find Your Strength? (Hybrid)

Find a way to emotional and spiritual support to those involved in the life of a person with dementia. This is a follow up to the conversations we had in April that focused on the experiences of three temple members who had cared for their spouses with dementia. Those in attendance for that conversation asked for an opportunity to focus on emotional and spiritual support for caregivers. This is an effort to do just that. The conversation will be facilitated by Rabbi Marcia Plumb. Rabbi Plumb is a temple member who has led classes in Mussar for many years. Mussar is the study of the moral and emotional traits by which we live our lives. There will be time for discussion and questions. While the program will be on zoom, as before, we urge people to come in person if they are able, to get the most out of the conversation. The program will not be recorded and you do not need to have attended the April event to participate fully in this one.

Registration: This event is available in person and online. Please click the appropriate purple bar above to register.

This event is sponsored by Lev Echad. In the ancient tradition of offering comfort and solace to those who are suffering or lonely in our community, we train pastoral volunteers to visit fellow congregants.
