About Aden
Hello Temple Beth Elohim! I am Aden Albert. My happy place is on a basketball court. I play on a club team and at The Fessenden School where I’m a 7th grader. I enjoy all of my classes but my favorite would be civilizations.
I’m an only child and have lots of cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents who I enjoy spending time with! When I’m at home, I love watching sports with my dad (he’s a big Michigan fan!) and joking and laughing with my mom because she likes to be goofy.
For my Bar Mitzvah, I’m volunteering at Athletes Unlimited which hosts events for people with physical and mental disabilities. On my big day, I’m excited to teach Torah to my friends and family because I’m proud of all of my hard work. This day will be a special milestone.
About Ellie
Hi TBE community, this is Ellie Kohen. I love music, especially singing. I have always loved to sing, and perform. Singing has become a huge part of my life, and I have loved it for a long time.
I have two siblings. Lucy who is 10, and Noah who is 7. I also have a Bernese Mountain Dog, Daisy, and wow, she’s a character. And there’s my parents, Amy and Doug.
I am a seventh grader at the Fay School in Southborough. I have been going there for two years, and I love everything about it, except the dress code obviously. My favorite class is life science, where we learn about different systems and organisms.
As a Bat Mitzvah, I want to help those who might not be as fortunate as we are. Now that I am a Jewish adult, I can do more as an individual to help make a difference. I started thinking about this last year for school, and wrote a whole speech and presented a workshop to younger students as a project, and this year, I am working with some of my classmates to improve the Southborough food pantry.
