Shabbat Morning Service (Online)

Our Shabbat service includes the celebration of the B’Mitzvah of Bailey Bloomstein and Hunter Steeves.  Please note this service is being held remotely and will be a private family service.

About Hunter
Hello TBE! I’m Hunter Steeves. I live in Wellesley with my parents, Karen and Jeff, and younger brother, Grady, who is 9 years old. I am a 7th grader at The Belmont Hill School. My favorite class is math because there are infinite ways to challenge yourself. I play on the soccer, basketball, and baseball teams for my school, but my favorite sport is baseball. I love playing first base and pitcher because you get a lot of action. In the summer, I go to Camp Caribou and enjoy trying new activities with friends.

Becoming a Bar Mitzvah has been a lot of work, but I am proud of what I have accomplished and am excited for the opportunity to read from the Torah. For my Bar Mitzvah service project, I packed and delivered food to Jewish people who can’t travel to the store through Jewish Family & Children’s Service. I chose this project because I feel fortunate to have food security and want others to have the same feeling.

About Bailey
Hi TBE community, my name is Bailey Bloomstein, and playing sports makes me feel happy and free. I play both soccer and basketball for the town of Natick. My favorite is soccer and I am a goalkeeper and center midfielder. I also play basketball for Wilson Middle School, where I am a 7th grader. 

I am the youngest and most competitive of my family members. I have an older brother Griffin, who is in 11th grade. My parents Nancy and Marc are also really important in my life. One of the best things they ever did for me was send me to Camp Pembroke for 4 weeks in 2018. At first, I was a little nervous about leaving them, but it is now my favorite place in the entire world and I wouldn’t be the same without it. I’ve made so many good friends and had so many amazing memories there.

Becoming a Bat Mitzvah has been a lot of work, but it makes me feel happy knowing I get to take on more responsibilities. For my service project, I volunteered at Cradles to Crayons and made outfit packs for girls in need. It felt so good knowing girls, just a little younger than me, would benefit from it.
