Yad Chessed Purim Collection (Online)

Yad Chessed is the only social service agency focused solely on meeting the basic needs of Jewish individuals and families in Massachusetts. With a mission rooted in the values of tzedakah (charity) and chessed (kindness), Yad Chessed provides emergency financial assistance, grocery gift cards and compassionate guidance for those experiencing financial hardship. Yad Chessed also works to ensure that those in need can afford kosher food and can celebrate the holidays while feeling connected to our Jewish community. For Purim, Yad Chessed enables everyone to carry out the mitzvah of Matanot LaEvyonim, gifts to those in need, by distributing donations raised on Purim to hundreds of community members facing food insecurity.
