How can Jewish wisdom help us align our deeply held values with how we walk through our everyday lives and relationships? How can we become wiser and more responsive, instead of triggered and reactive? Tikkun middot is a Jewish practice for cultivating desirable middot, or character traits, including generosity, patience, balance, trust, and courage. The practice is grounded in Jewish teachings, mindfulness practice, and peer to peer conversations. Tikkun middot practice is for anyone who wants to more often be their “best self” in the actions of daily life.

At this time, Tikkun Middot is offered in person only – if you are interested in exploring Tikkun Middot online, we encourage you to explore the many incredible virtual options available via the Institute of Jewish Spirituality

Participation in this introductory session is required for new participants and will prepare you to join our ongoing Tikkun Middot class (November 10, December 1, 8, February 2, 23) where returning members continue to deepen their practice in community. This introductory course is also welcome for returning members who want a refresher after the summer break.

Registration: This event is available online. Please click the appropriate purple bar above to register.

This program is part of The Well at TBE, Institute for Integrative Health, Wellness, and Spirituality. The Well at TBE integrates Jewish spiritual practices and modern mindfulness tools and techniques to provide a source of wellbeing through learning, practice, prayer, and support for individuals on their own and in community.
