Team TBE: Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (In Person)

Sisterhood@TBE is excited to announce once again that Team TBE will be participating in The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk being held in Boston. We are hoping that you (and your family members) will join us in this great cause!

The American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer movement raises funds that support breast cancer patients, survivors, thrivers and caregivers through every step of the journey. The money raised by Making Strides supports breast cancer research and programs. Specifically, the Making Strides organization integrates advocacy, discovery, and patient support to measurably improve the lives of breast cancer patients and their families. Sisterhood@TBE is proud to join this movement and we hope you will too!

The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Boston Walk on Sunday morning (rolling start beginning at 8:00 am), October 1, starts and ends at the DCR Memorial Hatch Shell. Walkers can choose to do either a two mile route or a five mile route. There are no fundraising minimums and there is no cost to register to walk.

There are two ways that you (and your family members) can support Team TBE and the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer movement:

1. Join Team TBE and walk with us. Register here.  All are welcome! Go to the Sisterhood@TBE Team TBE page and click on the Join our Team button. Once you join, you are invited to fundraise on behalf of the team, or you are provided the option to establish your own Making Strides Page, should you wish to create your own fundraising page. Either way, all funds that you raise will be attributed to the Sisterhood@TBE Team TBE.
2. If you are not able to join us on the walk, but want to support our efforts, you are invited to donate to the Sisterhood@TBE Team TBE. Donate here by clicking the Donate button.

We are very excited to bring our community together to MAKE STRIDES in the fight against breast cancer. Together we can make a difference by raising critical funds for innovative research, support for patients and their families, and providing critical education for breast cancer prevention. What better way to start the new year!! Last year, TEAM TBE raised OVER $12,000.00! We know this year, with your help, we can raise even more funds for this most worthy cause!

Sisterhood@TBE will be arranging transportation leaving from and returning to TBE for those interested, at a cost of $18:00 pp. Please click here if you want to take the bus to and from TBE.
