Supporting the Refugee: Connecting Family Storytime with Action (In Person)

FSAG assembles snack bags for A Place to Turn, a Natick food pantry

Join Cantor Josh, the Family Social Action Group, and Brave Light Library for a family storytime and learning session about the plight of the world’s refugees, and about the Jewish imperative to care for the stranger in our midst. Then, we’ll engage in a family-friendly social action activity to support locally resettled refugees.

We are asking families to bring a box of diapers (newborn through pull ups) and/or an inexpensive toy (new in box, please) appropriate for children aged 5 and under. Please sign up for a toy here.

Registration: This event is available in person. Please click the purple bar above to register.

Sponsored by Family Social Action Group (FSAG): Volunteer alongside your children in kindergarten through 5th grade (younger and older siblings welcome). Show them that they can make a difference helping others.
