Ahavat Chesed – The Work of Lovingkindness
Jewish tradition teaches that the divine quality of Expansive Loving is available in each moment. Jewish mindfulness practice invites us to uncover and consciously engage this generative, connecting and holy dynamic at work in our direct experience. As we move into the latter half of summer and towards the Jewish New Year, we will explore the work of Lovingkindness as we access it in our bodies, minds, and spirits, through a full day of immersion in spiritual practice. This will include contemplative text study, meditation, soulful singing, somatic practice, writing, and small group work.
This program is offered free of charge. For more information, please click here.

Offerings include creative, experiential learning, off-site gatherings, and meaningful opportunities for learning and exploration. Engage at TBE, online and outside our walls, while building relationships with one another and TBE faculty! Click here to view a list of all Summer Institute programs.
We are deeply grateful to the family of Burton D. “Bud” Rose, M.D., who has underwritten the Summer Institute in loving memory of Bud, who was a lifelong teacher and student.
