About Grady
Hello TBE! I am Grady Steeves and I attend Tenacre Country Day School in Wellesley, but I will have graduated the week before my bar mitzvah. I am headed to Belmont Hill in the fall and am excited for all my new classes, especially math, which I enjoy because it provides a challenge and there is always an answer.

I live with my parents Karen and Jeff and my brother Hunter, who is 3 years older than me. We like to play basketball and golf together, though my favorite activity to do is mini golf because it requires a creative approach to each shot. Golf on the Village Green in Natick is my all-time favorite course. I even designed and built three holes of mini golf at Camp Caribou last summer. This summer will be my third at Caribou.

For my Ma’asim Tovim community service hours, I volunteered at Cradles to Crayons and Volunteer Ventures. I enjoyed spending time with both organizations, but particularly loved building picnic tables with Volunteer Ventures because it provided the opportunity to assemble, sand, and paint furniture. Becoming a bar mitzvah is important to me because it means that I have put in the hard work to become an adult in the eyes of the Jewish community.
