About Hannah
Hello, TBE Community. My name is Hannah Blazar Yitzhari. Ballet is one of the most important things to me. I love being able to dance and express myself. I dance with Boston Ballet four days a week and was in the Nutcracker this year. I also enjoy reading, especially fantasy. I’m a huge Wings of Fire fan and love rereading the books.

In my family I am the oldest child. My brother Benjie is nine years old and he is always there for a laugh. My parents are Mollie and Matan. I’m the creative one of the family, always coming up with fun crafts for us to do as a family. We also have two pets: our plastic goldfish named
Amanda and Fred.

I am a seventh-grade student at Brown middle school. I love all my classes but art is probably my favorite. I love being able to have fun and be creative while at the same time get to talk with my friends and share ideas.

As a bat mitzvah, I am really happy to be considered an adult in Jewish eyes. It makes me feel more responsible and it makes me believe that I can do a lot for the Jewish community.

For Ma’asim Tovim, I helped with making food and with kids at the temple for Tot Shabbat, leading the kids on how to say the prayers, lighting the candles, and covering the challah.

About Lucy
Hi Temple Beth Elohim, my name is Lucy Auerbach. I live in Natick with my family. I have been going to Camp Somerset since I was six years old. I love spending my summers there with all of my friends. I enjoy playing softball. My favorite positions are pitcher, shortstop, and second base. I play for Natick and Frozen Ropes. I also enjoy swimming. My favorite stroke is freestyle. I have two younger siblings, Paige and Will. I love hanging out and playing games with them. I go to Wilson Middle School and enjoy learning about different things. As a bat mitzvah, I would like to attend more services and learn about Jewish holidays. To prepare for my bat mitzvah, I have volunteered at many places, my favorite being Cradles to Crayons. Having my bat mitzvah is very exciting, but it has also been a lot of hard work. I am proud and excited to lead the congregation and take the next step in my Jewish learning.
