About Lucy
Hello TBE Community! My name is Lucy Kohen. Ever since I was little, I have loved to draw. Making mystical scenes from my mind appear on paper brings me much joy! The feeling of a pencil in my hand and the sketchbook below it gives me a sense of peace and calmness. I am the middle child of three kids. My sister, Ellie, is two years older than me, and my brother Noah is three years younger than me. We also have a Bernese Mountain Dog named Daisy. I am the most creative in our family, as well as one of many introverts.

I am a seventh grader at Curtis Middle School In Sudbury. My favorite subject at school is science. I love to learn about astronomy, and all of the weird laws about what things are. I especially like the chemical formula of C12H22O11.

Becoming a b’mitzvah means a lot to me. It symbolizes the transition from child to adult in our Jewish community. I find that as I get older, I have more responsibility and maturity. This event marks the official time when I will begin to be treated more like a grown up, and less like a kid. I am excited to continue to be a part of the TBE community.
