About Tyler
Dear TBE community, My name is Tyler Rand.  I live in Wellesley with my parents and siblings.  I love all sports but my favorites are basketball and lacrosse. Being on the field or court makes me feel happy and alive! I am the middle of three kids in my family! My older brother, Harrison, is 15 and my younger sister, Chloe, is 8.  At the beginning of the pandemic, my parents surprised us with a puppy! She is a Cavapoo named Lulu!

I am a seventh grader at The Rivers School. I enjoy all of my classes, but Art and Science are my favorites because I love to be creative and they are both very hands-on and fun! During the summers I go to Camp Cedar. I love the freedom of being at camp and playing sports with my friends all day. I also enjoy spending time with my family on Cape Cod.

As a Bar Mitzvah, I am extremely happy to be an adult in the Jewish community and I am excited to take on more responsibilities. I have studied hard to learn my Torah portion and prayers.  I am excited, and a little bit nervous, for May 20th!

About Sam
Hi everyone, I am Samuel Peristere. Stuff I am super passionate about includes reading, creative writing, and science. You can definitely find me watching science videos and writing stories in my free time. Among my siblings, I am the youngest of 3. Eli is at UNH and Teddy is at Natick high, this season he is playing lacrosse. I am definitely the most independent of the 3 of us. But we all love snuggling with our new Bernadoodle Otis, he is awesome and gigantic! I am new to Natick so this is my first year at Kennedy Middle School and I am in the 7th grade. And while I LOVE science, my favorite class this year is definitely math.

Preparing for my Bar Mitzvah has really been a challenge but I think I understand the importance of it. I am still trying to get my Aliyas down but I think I will be ready.  For my service project, I am collecting pet supplies for animals that have been displaced from natural disasters. Since we got Otis, I have become more aware of what our pets need to survive.
