B’Mitzvah Morning Service (Hybrid)

Our Monday morning service includes the celebration of the B’Mitzvah of Jacob Roberts.

About Jacob
Hello TBE Family,
I am Jacob Roberts and I am a basketball player, watcher, and “anything that has to do with basketball” person. I love to play basketball so much because it is fast-paced. I think it is the most fun sport to watch on TV because it is always entertaining no matter what point in the game it is. I live with my mom Jamie, my dad David, my twin sister Leila, and dog Ziggy. Leila is the older twin by 5 minutes and she always has something to say about it. Ziggy is 5 years old and was a big addition to our family. When I am not playing basketball or playing with Ziggy, I am hanging out with friends or playing video games. I go to Brown Middle school in Newton and my favorite subject is math because it just makes sense to me. Becoming a bar mitzvah means a lot to me. It represents that I am growing up and becoming more and more of an adult. My service project was giving back to my community doing volunteering at the Newton Food Pantry and helping a new family in Boston who moved from the Congo by giving them new bikes donated from our community.
