About Lila
Hi TBE community! My name is Lila Ginsburg. I enjoy playing sports like tennis, soccer, and cross country! I spend all of my summers at my second home, Camp Tel Noar in Hampstead, New Hampshire. It is a Jewish camp, so I like how in the summer I am still learning about Judaism even when I don’t go to Hebrew School. I live with my younger brother Alex, who is eleven, and my mom and dad. Katy Perry is my all time favorite artist! I love listening to her music.

I am a seventh grader who goes to Charles E. Brown Middle school in Newton, Massachusetts. I enjoy all of my classes, but my favorite is math. I find it interesting because solving a hard problem is satisfying and rewarding. I also like how you can check your work to see if the answer is right.

I am excited to become a bat mitzvah because I will finally be an adult in the eyes of the Jewish community! These past two years, I have done around 36 hours of volunteering in total. I helped people in need of food by making soup kits, put together outfits for kids at Cradles to Crayons, and worked at Hebrew Senior Living. Preparing for my bat mitzvah has been a huge deal and a lot of work. I am happy to spend my special day with my family and friends!

About Teagan
Hello Temple Beth Elohim, I am Teagan Weintraub, an outgoing 12 year old who lives in Wellesley and has been part of TBE since Gan Elohim. Being with friends and family near and far makes me happy. I play soccer, basketball, and tennis during the school year for the town and my school. My family spends summers at the Cape and we travel to Florida to see our family a lot. I am the youngest in my family. My oldest brother Baron was the first to become bar mitzvah at TBE. I also have a dog Ripken (a Cavapoo) who we all enjoy spoiling and spending time with. I attend Fenn which is a school in Concord. I enjoy Science and Drama. I have been in a few plays and like playing fun characters. Having my bar mitzvah has been a lot of work, and it makes me feel responsible and proud. My service project was working Cradles to Crayons. I enjoyed helping others as part of the TBE community.
