Mincha Ma’ariv Service (Hybrid)

Our Mincha Ma’ariv service includes the celebration of the B’Mitzvah of Micah Goddess and Sadie Cooper.

About Micah

Hello TBE community. I’m Micah Goddess, a 7th grader at Oak Hill Middle School in Newton. Baseball is my passion, and I’m out on the field every day, representing both my club and school teams. In school, my favorite subjects are math, history, and science. My friends are very important to me and I have known most of them since Kindergarten. In the summer, I spend my days at Camp Tevya.

At home, I am the oldest sibling in my family. My sister Sadie is 9 and my little brother Boden is 2. I have two dogs, a golden retriever named Amelia and a black lab named Tucker who make every day an adventure.

I am honored and proud to become a bar mitzvah. Along with my studies this year,  I’ve dedicated time to my school’s Connections Program, where students of all abilities come together for fun activities and outings. It’s been fun getting to know everyone in this program.

About Sadie

Hi everyone! My name is Sadie Cooper. I am a 7th grader at Pollard Middle School. When I’m not busy on the soccer field, I love to spend time with my friends. In the summer, you’ll find me at Camp Tevya and it is my favorite place to be.

I live in Needham with my older brother, Max, and my parents, Shana & Josh Cooper. We enjoy traveling and playing sports together. Two places that I loved exploring with my family were Iceland and Sedona.

To prepare for becoming bat mitzvah, I spent time at Cradles to Crayons, learning about their mission and helping to sort donations and compile outfits for students in need in Massachusetts. This was really meaningful to me because I like fashion and I took a lot of pride in creating packages that students would feel confident in. It was a great way to make an impact on my community.
