About Rachel
Hello TBE Community! I’m Rachel Bueker and I am 12 years old. I live in Wellesley with my mom, my dad, my brother Michael who is 17, the person who is like a grandmother to me Jessie, and my 2 year old dog Scout. My oldest brother Sam is 19 and he is in college. I am in 7th grade at the Rivers School in Weston, where I run cross country, and play basketball and tennis. Some of my favorite things to do are draw and paint, hang out with friends and family, and be outside, whether it is walking my dog or riding my bike. For my Ma’asim Tovim project I am volunteering at Cradles to Crayons and building desks for schools in need of supplies. To me, becoming a Bat Mitzvah means taking on more responsibility and setting an example not just in the Jewish Community but also beyond, and spreading as much love and kindness in the world as I can.
