About Jake
Hello Temple Beth Elohim,

I am Jake Farber and my Bar Mitzvah is right around the corner. I  really cannot wait for it.

When questioned about my favorite hobby, my mind goes straight to fencing. I have been fencing since I was little and I still love it today. I fence three times per week at Zeta Fencing Club.

Along with my parents, I have a 15 year old sister, Elina, and our dog, Layla. I am currently a seventh grader at Weston Middle School, and I enjoy being a student there. I like most of my classes, but I would say  that I like Robotics the best.

As a Bar Mitzvah, I am looking forward to being seen as an adult in the eyes of the Jewish community, and contributing to the world in positive ways. I have also started a program to help Ukrainian refugees practice their English on What’s App. Becoming a Bar Mitzvah has really showed me that you can make the world a better place by investing some time and effort.
