About Evan
Hello TBE community. My name is Evan Garber, and I’m in 7th grade at Kennedy Middle School in Natick. I live with my mom, dad, and younger brother Drew. I love basketball, fishing, and video games, but I love our dog Eddy the most. My favorite class at school is social studies because we learn about world history, interesting people, and other social science subjects.

I have been going to Hebrew school at TBE since kindergarten. I’m excited to become a Bar Mitzvah and show all the hard work I have put into preparing. I am grateful for the support of my family and look forward to helping lead the temple service.

For my mitzvah project, I am collecting donations for the Safe With Us Animal Rescue, the organization we adopted our dog from last June. Having a dog has taught me how to care for someone other than myself. It is important to me that as many dogs as possible have a safe home where they are loved. I’m grateful for organizations that save animals, and it makes me happy to know that the money I raise will go directly to help dogs in need.
