About Skye
Hello TBE community. My name is Skye Sheklin and I am interested in psychology and business. Since I was little, I have always loved the idea of creating my own company. When I grow up, I hope to go to business school, then go on to be a CEO.

I live with my mom, my dad, and my sister, Sophie. Sophie is almost 18 and had her Bat Mitzvah here too.

I go to Brown Middle School and I don’t have a favorite subject. During the past year, I started watching YouTube videos posted by a channel called Aperture. One day, I saw that they had posted a video about the dark web. I knew that the dark web existed but I didn’t know much about it so I watched the video. During school, I began to read articles about drug dealers, and websites on the dark web like the Silk Road. I noticed that a lot of the articles mentioned cryptocurrency. Specifically, Bitcoin. After that, I started learning more about Bitcoin mining, blockchain, and DeFi.

To me, becoming a Bat Mitzvah means that I’m becoming a Jewish adult, in the sense that I will be more mature and more connected to Judaism.
