About Daniel
Hello Temple Beth Elohim, my name is Daniel Goldberg and I am a 7th grader at Wellesley Middle School. During my free time I like to play soccer and basketball and hang out with my friends. I also like digital film production, which I learned from URJ 6 Points Sci-tech Academy, the sleep-away camp I go to, and random videos on YouTube. I live with my Mom, Dad, and two little brothers whose names are Alex(8) and Taylor(5). They both go to Upham elementary school which is where I went as well. What being bar mitzvah means to me is becoming a bigger part of the community in my own way and making more of the decisions in my life. I believe that everyone can make this world a better place and I’m going to do that by starting with myself by helping the people around me that might not have as much as I do. For my Bar Mitzvah project I will be delivering food to food pantries around Boston through TBE Table. It is important that everyone has a healthy meal for them to eat in the morning and at night. This also lines up with my torah portion which is about sacrificing meals either for paying for a wrongdoing or to help other people.
