Noga Brenner Samia, Deputy Director, BINA: Tractate Independence: Exploring issues at the intersection of Judaism and Democracy through a renewed look at the Israeli Declaration of Independence

Noga Brenner Samia was raised both in New-York and Netanya. A sergeant in the IDF, Noga attained a B.Sc. (Cum Laude) in Industrial Engineering and Management (Technion), an MBA (Washington University, St. Louis) and an MA in Pluralistic Jewish Education (HUC/Hebrew University). She worked in the military and pharmaceutical industries before joining KolDor as executive director. She is currently Deputy Director of BINA: The Jewish Movement for Social Change and a teacher at the Secular Yeshiva. Noga was ordained by the Rabbanut Yisraelit (Oranim/Hartman). She is founder of a Jewish renewal community in Tel-Mond, where she lives with her husband and three children

The Israel Current Events Program (ICEP) is a dynamic discussion group for learning and exploring important aspects of Israeli current events and how they impact Israel.  Invited speakers share expertise on a specific topic related to Israel, typically followed by Q&A and group discussion. Topics selected based on timely and pressing issues facing Israel. ICEP typically meets one Sunday per month. 

All are welcome and prior registration is not required.
