Hadassah Wine, Dessert & Book Swap (In Person)

  • Wednesday, June 4, 2025
  • 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Come learn about Hadassah, meet new people, and enjoy an evening of wine, desserts, and a fun book swap. It’s a great way to connect, relax, and discover something new.

Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, is a volunteer organization that inspires a passion for and commitment to the land, the people, and the future of Israel. Through education, advocacy, and youth development, and its support of medical care and research at Hadassah Medical Organization, Hadassah enhances the health and lives of people in Israel, the United States and worldwide.

Supported by generous donors in the United States and around the world, the Hadassah Medical Organization’s (HMO) two Jerusalem hospitals are innovative and compassionate global leaders in medical care, treatments and research serving more than a million women, men and children a year, regardless of religion, race or nationality.

Youth Aliyah is a part of Hadassah’s work, with two youth villages in Israel. In recent years they have been at and above capacity with refugees from Russia, Ukraine and areas in Israel that are affected by the ongoing war. Since 1934, over 300,000 students from 80 lands have graduated from Youth Aliyah. Young immigrants and at-risk native Israelis receive a full spectrum of help — shelter, food, counseling, education and other supportive services.
