Join TBE’s GBIO Core Team at the GBIO Summer Potluck Dinner (Off-site)

TBE’s Racial Justice Initiative is an active member of GBIO, the Greater Boston Interfaith Organization, which brings together, trains, and organizes people across religious, ethnic, class, and neighborhoods for powerful social change. RJI’s GBIO Core Team work together with fellow GBIO communities, and we have achieved success on issues of affordable and public housing, a fair chance for those leaving incarceration, medical/ behavioral health care equity, and more.

Through our involvement in GBIO, TBE members build relationships with individuals and congregations across the Boston area, including those from communities most impacted by racial and social injustice. Our strength is founded in a mutual understanding of what we each care deeply about and we build that understanding one relationship at a time.

In anticipation of the important social justice work ahead, GBIO is bringing folks together in a fun, low-key social event, perfect for reconnecting and for a first experience of the TBE-GBIO connection! This is the perfect time to get involved!

Join RJI’s GBIO Core Team Leaders Sheri Kassirer, Bud Schram, and Amy Benjamin at an in person potluck dinner at the United Parish in Brookline. Sign up and we’ll share details about food and carpools (as we get them!).

Registration: This event is available in person. Please click the purple bar above to register.

If you’re not able to attend the July 24 potluck or would like to hear more about why RJI-GBIO action is such a worthwhile TBE experience, contact Sheri Kassirer.

This event is sponsored by TBE’s Racial Justice Initiative, which works to increase our understanding and activism to address ongoing discrimination and inequality.
