Furniture Collection for Incoming Syrian Families

TBE’s Immigration Justice Group (IJG) is planning to welcome and resettle 3 Syrian families in December and early January. These families are immediate family members of the other families we welcomed 8 years ago who are now US citizens!

Needless to say, IJG volunteers are busily searching for appropriate housing and the setup teams are forming to outfit apartments and create new welcoming homes for all these new arrivals. Gathering furniture and household items for 3 families in a compressed period of time is a challenge and attached is a list of needs categorized by room.

Items must be in very good condition; in working order; with no rips and minimal scratches, dents and chips.  And we are always in need of volunteers to assist new families, even by those of you who can only commit to occasional tasks. To learn more about volunteering contact Deb Gotbetter.
