CASA Happily Returns to Community Servings (In Person)
- Thursday, April 28, 2022
- 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
You’re in demand! Community Servings is a renown organization making and delivering scratch-made medically tailored meals (MTM) for clients with chronic illnesses and their families. Founded 32 years ago, it has well surpassed ten million meals. Throughout 2022, more than 875,000 MTM will serve almost 4,000 people across Massachusetts. You can participate, in person, in the packing process. Since Fall, CASA, Community of Adult Social Action, has organized bi-monthly opportunities of tikkun olam engagement and small group masked interactions. Be a part of this rewarding journey.
“Helping prepare the packaging of food for clients is a very gratifying volunteer project. Returnees have established a community with other volunteers and staff to prepare and pack the nutritious, made from scratch meals, for clients and their families. We work in a safe active environment, and know that our visits are appreciated in making an impact on the lives of many with chronic and medical issues.” —Marilyn Becker
Community Servings has continued to provide meals to thousands of clients and their families impacted by HIV/AIDS, cancer, kidney disease, diabetes and other life threatening illnesses.
