The Power of Grief (Hybrid)

holding hands

Grief following a death touches us all. At some point in our lives, we will confront the pain of losing someone who matters to us. It might be a partner or a child, a parent or sibling, a friend or colleague. It might be after a long illness or a sudden accident. It might happen once and then not again for a long time after, or we might be confronted with several losses close together. Finding ways to cope with our grief is one of life’s greatest challenges. How do we make meaning from a death, from this kind of profound loss? How do we move on?

Join Cantor Emerita Jodi Sufrin and temple member Cathy Spear LICSW, a psychotherapist with extensive expertise in bereavement and grief programs, as they help us better understand the process of grief.
