How did our Sages relate to their own anger? Shame? Desire? Grief? Using Talmudic texts as our home base, we’ll explore how our ancestors related to (and sought to regulate) the ebbs and flows of their own emotional lives, and ask, what happens when we place their human experiences in conversation with our own?

This course is part of our Summer Institute adult learning program. Learn more about Summer Institute.
