Book Club | “The Familiar” by Leigh Bardugo (Hybrid)
- Tuesday, January 28, 2025
- 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM
- Program Leader: Helene Kress, Trina Reinach, and Ronni Michaelson
Gather with other book lovers to discuss a book each month that is chosen a couple of months before a meeting. Our Book Club is a warm and dynamic group of people who meet to share and discuss good reads, expand their perspectives, and get to know one another through lively discussion. All are welcome at any time!
The book choice for our January meeting is the novel The Familiar by Leigh Bardugo.
In a shabby house in the new capital of Madrid, a lowly kitchen scullion hides a gift for little miracles. But when her employer discovers Luzia Cotado’s secret talent, she demands Luzia use her illusions to win over the royal court.
Be sure to keep an eye out for our monthly newsletter with details about the upcoming book and its author. If you are not on our Book Club list, and would like to be added, please reach out to Lynn Burke Harrell.
