All About Yiddish (In Person)
- Friday, April 18, 2025
- 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM
- Join us in person
- Program Leader: Dr. Christopher Doty

Join us to learn all about Yiddish! We’ll examine both the origins of the language, its impact on the development of Judaism in Europe, and the sociocultural factors that we can see through its use in secular contexts.
Although this is a make-up session for a missed “Languages of the Jews” class, you do not need to have attended that program to come to this one.
Registration: This event is available in person. Please click the appropriate purple bar above to register.
Sponsored by the Beth Elohim Institute for Transformation (BEIT), which offers an integrated, multifaceted approach to exploring and applying Jewish teachings and tradition to our contemporary daily lives by bringing together learning, spiritual practice, caring, and action all under one roof.
