As our 6th and 7th graders approach the milestone of becoming Jewish adults, we invite them on a meaningful journey to Philadelphia, the birthplace of American democracy. This TBE trip will bring our values of learning, justice, and community to life as students ask big questions: What is democracy? Who has been included—and excluded—in shaping our nation? How do these struggles matter for minority communities and for Jews in particular?
This trip is part of our Ma’asim Tovim curriculum, helping our rising Jewish adults see how they can bring their voices, values, and actions to building a more just world—as Jews and as citizens of the United States.
Trip Highlights:
- Mural Arts Tour
- Constitution Center
- Independence Hall
- Weitzman Jewish Museum
