What can I learn from my own story of the past several months? That I am extraordinarily grateful for my health and that of my friends and family and community. That I am equal parts strong and vulnerable. That I need to find ways to balance work and life. That I am privileged in every sense of the word, and that as tough as I think my life is, most people in the world have it much worse than me.
I also learned that it’s supremely important for me to expand my involvement with the Jewish community, and I’m doing that through my work, through TBE and the ways in which I spend my time.
