There’s nothing like a funeral to bring people together who all have a special bond with the person who has died. But they don’t necessarily know each other; or they haven’t seen each other or connected with each other in any way for a very long time. I very much appreciated the remembrances shared at the Zoom shiva by my aunt’s many friends, many of whom I knew as a child but haven’t seen since then. I look forward to building on that connection in the weeks to come.
