Our Shabbat service includes the celebration of the B’Mitzvah of Leila Roberts.

About Leila

Dear TBE Community,
My name is Leila Roberts, and I love dancing at JLDC. I love the community, performing and dancing in competitions. I am a 7th grader at Dana Hall in Wellesley. I like playing volleyball for my school and I like most of my classes. English is my favorite. I like to discuss my. Ideas about the books we read with peers. I have gone to Camp Somerset in Maine since I was 10 years old. It is one of my favorite places to be, because I get to live with my friends, and there are so many fun things to do.
I am the oldest of two. My brother Jacob is 5 minutes younger. My parents are a lot older. We have a 5 year old mini Australian labradoodle named Ziggy. He is a little crazy, but we love him anyway. I campaigned very hard and convinced my parents to get him. They are now grateful.
As a bat mitzvah, I have been volunteering at Unity Farm which is an animal rescue farm in Sherborn. As I am becoming a bat mitzvah, I am thinking about how I can help my community and those who don’t have a voice.
Regards, Leila
