Mincha Ma’ariv Service (Hybrid)

Our Mincha Ma’ariv service includes the celebration of the B’Mitzvah of Ella Fireman.

About Ella
Hello TBE community! My name is Ella Fireman. I am 12 years old, and I am so excited to become a Bat Mitzvah on April 13th here in our sanctuary. I live in Wellesley and I am a 7th grader at The Rivers School in Weston. My favorite subjects are Humanities and Media Lit. I love these subjects because they allow me to explore current events in the news and in the books I read. In my free time, I love to play tennis and go on runs. I play tennis a few times a week and really love it. Running I do just for fun. I also love to spend time with my family, my friends and my three dogs Moby, Birdie and Sunny. I am the youngest of my siblings. My brother Jack is 15, and my sister Abbey is 17.
I love summer most of all when I get to spend time in Maine at Camp Matoaka or at the beach in Nantucket or Cape Cod.

Service and giving back to the community is very important to my family and me. I have been involved in the B Fund as a founding member, helping families caring for critically ill children. I have spent a lot of time working with Gaining Ground and Cradles to Crayons. Finally, with a help of a few others at Rivers, I started a Jewish Affinity group for middle school students.

For me becoming a bat mitzvah feels like l am taking an important step towards adulthood. I have been a part of Temple Beth Elohim since preschool and have watched each of my siblings become a Bar and Bat Mitzvah. Now that it is my turn I can finally follow in their footsteps and become a mature role model to others in our community.
