I have learned that I can endure and adapt and even find a few moments of enjoyment during a difficult time. I am a creature of habit and I like to know what to expect. When the pandemic began everything was thrown out of whack. There was no school for my son, no schedule, no routine and this was extremely stressful and challenging for our family. Life as everyone knew it just stopped. Over time, a LOT of time, my family found a rhythm, a routine, some structure and predictability and a situation that was anything but predictable. I realized I had actually adapted and was not permanently paralyzed by this upheaval like I thought I would be.
