What has been my story of the past several months? What has brought me joy? Where have I faced challenges?
Integrating my need to make a contribution with a growing societal need, I established a personal challenge, and I am pleased to share that my challenge is being achieved as I write my story. With the uncommitted time provided by the endemic I focused on my painting, an activity easily pursued in the safety of my home. In partnership with a local New Hampshire gallery, we sponsored a socially-distanced show of 42 of my paintings with all the proceeds benefitting the local food pantry. The show opened last week and, to date, 23 paintings have been sold, generating thousands of dollars for the local food pantry. A few pictures are included.
