History & Building | Makom
Our Atrium
How awesome is this place! This is none other than a Beit Elohim!
Transforming our building from stone and steel into a makom, a sacred space.
About Our Atrium
Here is the place to gather, take a breath, see familiar faces, orient yourself to the sacred. If you stand on the second floor balcony of the atrium and look down, you will see it all, the totality of our shared experience at TBE: the place for prayer, for gathering, for cooking, for sharing, for learning, for working, for meeting; living life fully as a Jewish community. The openness of our design and our many interior windows is intended to create transparency, inviting you to see and experience new possibilities; to join in, to move from where you are, to engage in something new with us.
