Our events are planned by committee members and are led by our magnificent clergy and staff as well as congregants and speakers with expertise in various fields.

Women's Passover Seder
Wednesday, April 10

Ladies, Raise your timbrels, Join your “Sisters” in celebration!
Why will this night be different from all other nights? On this night we will celebrate women’s heroism, strength and solidarity in the spirit of Miriam. Join us for a multigenerational Passover Seder honoring courageous women of the Bible and today’s brave women who are blazing new trails close to home and around the world. TBE Mothers, Daughters and Sisters, come together, bring your friends, and join us for an evening of stories, songs, rituals, dancing and friendship. Featuring thought-provoking discussion led by congregant Marsha Mirkin and the musical leadership of Cantors Jodi Sufrin and Shanna Zell.

**Please consider supporting local women in need by donating feminine hygiene products in honor of the Women’s Seder. Donation bins will be available in the Temple atrium. Collections will be divided between Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program (BHCHP) and DONATE .
Theater Outing to Becoming Dr. Ruth
Sunday, April 28, 2019 (performance begins at 4:00 pm)
[email protected] goes to the theatre! Join us for this entertaining show about the life of famous sex therapist, Dr. Ruth Westheimer. After the performance we will return to TBE to share a casual lasagna dinner from Comella's, discuss the show, and socialize. Attendees can meet at the theatre or carpool from TBE. There is free parking in the Arsenal’s covered garage or in surface lots. Space is limited to 35 attendees.
Becoming Dr. Ruth by Mark St. Germain - Becoming Dr. Ruth chronicles the life of noted psychologist Dr. Ruth Westheimer from her early years fleeing Nazi Germany to her time spent as a sniper in Jerusalem and beyond. This illuminating one woman show from the author of Freud’s Last Session is a humorous and heartfelt portrait detailing Dr. Ruth’s incredible journey to become a pioneer in the psychology of human sexuality and the world’s most famous sex therapist.
Anne O'Sullivan joins the New Rep production of Becoming Dr. Ruth in the title role. O'Sullivan portrayed Dr. Ruth in a critically acclaimed Off-Broadway production in NYC in 2015. She will be joined by director Stephen Nachamie, the director of the same 2015 production.

Join your fellow Sisters for a good old-fashioned night of game playing! We will offer a variety of games for different tastes, all with simple rules. No prior experience necessary.
