Beth Soltzberg, LICSW, MBA, describes key messages about how dementia affects people, provides helpful ways to respond and communicate, and discusses resources available in the community. Feel free to bring your lunch! Beth directs the Alzheimer’s/Related Disorders Family Support Program at JF&CS, and leads the Dementia Friends public awareness program for Massachusetts.

During this interactive workshop, you will learn five key messages about how dementia affects people, and how each person can make a difference through respect, patience, and communication skills. There will be time for discussion and questions.
