Women are present everywhere in the Talmud; though traditionally their voices may not have been uplifted, their lives and work are threaded through the text. In this three-part series we will seek out and learn from the voices of three famous female figures from the Talmud: Beruriah, Ima Shalom, and Yalta.
No Talmud experience necessary; learners from all backgrounds welcome!
Dates: April 11, 25, May 9
This course follows a sequential structure, but anyone is welcome to join at any point, or to drop in to any class. If you have questions regarding participation, please contact the program leader.
