Taking Breaks: How to rejuvenate with breathing, movement, and meditation
Marcy Balter will lead us in a series of activities, including breathing and seated yoga movements, that will help us feel better in just minutes. All are welcome! No experience necessary.

It has been nearly a year since the world shut down. Now, more than ever, we all need “breaks”, but it’s hard to know just what to do to manage the myriad of ailments and emotions we’ve been experiencing. Whether we are feeling lonely, bored, anxious, stiff from sitting, or fatigued from screens; whether our needs are physical, mental, or emotional, we’ll come together to learn important ways to keep our equilibrium and stay positive and healthy.  As usual, we will include break-out sessions to allow time for connecting with friends and sharing ideas in small groups.

No special equipment is required for this event, however, you may enjoy having the following available to you: armless chair or stool or cushions, or mat for meditation, water bottle, light jacket or blanket
